The short version: Sylph collects nothing, sends nothing, and asks for nothing.
No data, by design
- Sylph has no analytics, no crash reporters, no trackers, no SDKs beyond Google Play's billing library.
- There are no accounts and no sign-in of any kind.
- There are no streaks, no history, no session logs — nothing is tracked between sessions, on the device or anywhere else.
- The app never shows a permission prompt. Its only permissions are install-time ones required to give the optional in-session haptics (vibration) and to process a purchase (Google Play billing).
- Your technique choices, saved custom patterns and settings are stored only on your device.
The one honest asterisk
If you buy Sylph Pro, the purchase is processed by Google Play's own billing client — the only component in the app that touches the network, and the standard mechanism every paid Android app uses. Google's handling of that transaction is covered by Google Play's terms and privacy policy; Sylph itself receives no personal information from it, and keeps only an on-device flag that Pro is unlocked.
